We've been having such a lush time here, adventures around the place and hanging out, relaxing, enjoying time with Rapunzel.
Yesterday we ventured to the Cairns Botanical Garden, and the Rainforest Boardwalk, which was truly amazing. We walked around for hours, oogling beautiful flowers, massive trees, and breathing in the lush forest air.
I'll just make you all jealous with some photos :)
Then we went for a picnic dinner on the beach with Rapunzel. *sigh* life is tough.
Wow! That tree sure must have some great energy! One of these days I will catch you, you cheeky fairy!
ReplyDeleteLove the first shot of little tree hugging that tree! Pure Bliss! Kids seem to ooze natural joy when hugging trees! Oh how I love to watch them!
My youngest girl was hugging a tree the other day and said to me "Mum this tree is crying! There was barbed wire growing through it! How awful!" But how wonderful that she can portray its feelings so easily! Hopefully there is hope for our future with kids like this!
You didn't mention the crocodiles - there are crocodiles in this park, and sometimes they even catch people.
ReplyDeleteThere are signs all over warning you from them, but don't tell you what to do about it. Nothing like "if you see a crocodile, climb the nearest tree".
Beautiful! Reminds me of a certain curtain fig...incredible! Hugs to you and your Little Tree hugger
ReplyDeleteBeauty everywhere. I would love to visit there.
