Kaleidoscope

Littletree got a cool kaleidoscope kit – one that you make the kaleidoscope yourself.

She had a great time putting it together

She now has a clear understanding of exactly *how* it works, because she made it herself and followed all the steps, experimenting with it as she went.

The top of it comes off, so you can change what trinkets are inside, making all different kinds of things you can see.

Here’s what it looks like, without any beads inside:

Of course, now Littletree spends ages changing the little trinkets, and seeing what she can see :)

  1. My son Zach got a very similar one for the winter holidays and he adores it. He's constantly taking it apart, sticking all manner of things inside to examine, etc. It's a great kit. Have fun LittleTree!

  3. That looks like so much fun!
I have recently discovered your lovely blog and have really enjoyed finding out about what you've been doing with LittleTree ... the unschooling method seems to be really unique and caring.
I also loved reading about your experiences at the rainbow gatherings! Ii would love to go to one one day.
